I chose B&B Teatro Bellini for its convenient location near the Cathedral, Piazza Università, and the harbor, as I wanted to visit the nearby Roman Theatre of Catania. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the roundtrip airport shuttle provided by the hotel. It made my arrival and departure hassle-free and more convenient.
Unpleasant staff and dirty.

Excellent location, offers a convenient and non-expensive accomodation.
Strange smell in the room, the hotel urgently needs renovation.

This place is my go-to. The staff even helped me find my lost car keys on my first visit. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, laundry, TV, kitchen, VIP service - and it's perfect for my city breaks. I keep coming back.

THe breakfast was a dissapointment,as I thought it was reasonable value for money as the price included breakfast.

Great location. You can walk to the historic sights and there are dozens of cafes and restaurants nearby. Train and bus stations 15 minute walk. Pleasant staff. The owner speaks English.
Beds aren't great. Gets noisy.

Very good location, in the center of the city.Beautiff room. Very nice staff.
Not exceptionally, but satisfactory clean. The hotel is hard to find because there is no hotel sign on the building or on the reception door. The hotel name is mentioned only on the intercom.

Located right in the heart of the city.
No parking in acceptable distance. Creaking bedsprings which could not be exchanged making it impossible to sleep.

The location was excellent for exploring the city. The staff - Angela- was very knowledgeable and friendly although she did not speak English. The room was very large and clean and had two bathrooms which was very useful.

The b&b is great!!!! Location is super! We had even not a room, we had a separate appartment with a separate entry with a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room and a balcon! The room is of so huge! With the walls are more than 4 metres height!!! Increadible!

Located near the city center. Spacious rooms.
The B&B has no sign on the door, except for a label on the door bell, so it is hard to find. There were no plates at breakfast. The owner doesn't speak English. Hardly any hot water in the bathroom. Noisy rooms, we could literally hear our neighbours talk.

In daylight the street looks scruffy and forbidding, and the b&b is in a building with a door like a fortress, but at night the street livens up with pavement cafes. It is also very convenient for the main shopping and eating places.

Good location, not much else.
When we arrived there was no welcome, greeted by staff member lighting a cigarette in tired, pregnant woman's face and demanding passport. Bed was uncomfortable with old ratty sheets. Bathroom smelt and shower had mildew. Breakfast was abysmal. We couldn't wait to leave. Overpriced compared to other B&Bs in Catania we stayed at which provided excellent service and facilities.
